Sarah, thank you for your tender heart that has reached all the way to Kenya! Here is M., who is waiting for another operation here at Tenwek. She is five years old (yes, that beautiful tiny girlie is five) and being taken care of by her grandmother. She was SO THRILLED to get the doll you sent!
Before we left New York last year some good friends gave us some dolls to deliver to some of the kids at the hospital. Sarah, one of Eden's friends, wanted to do something practical for the kids in the wards at Tenwek. This past week Eden was able to deliver one to a little girl that's been in the hospital for almost a month. It was so much fun to be able to tell her that there were people praying for her from our church back home and that this was a gift from them.

What can one person do? Bring a smile to a child's face halfway across the world, and smiles to the faces of everyone who reads this post.
