While we do live 90 minutes from some of the best safari parks in the world, the safari animals in my operating room are just two dimensional…
Last week KidsOR, an NGO which has donated a lot of equipment for children’s surgery at Tenwek, sent a team to put up artwork on our walls. It was a small thing but it has been such a huge blessing to our staff and the kids. We don’t usually have funds for such unnecessary things but it just seems so right to care for the kids in a playful atmosphere like this. What child won’t benefit from making the operating room just a little less scary? And they even did a Noah’s ark theme in our outpatient pediatric surgery area. So fun! Thank you KidsOR Comments are closed.
